The corner fireplace requires checking both sides of the insert, even if one part of the enclosure is less visible. The shape of the glazing affects the geometry and access for maintenance. Choose panels from the entire cross-section, not just from the appearance of the front around the glass.
Draw the corner together with the insert
Record the model and device installation requirements. Show walls, ceiling, supports, and required openings. Add the path for door opening and component removal so that the finishing does not limit future inspection.
Both sides of the corner may adjoin different materials. Also, take into account the layers hidden under the visible surface. The same board name does not confirm identical conditions for each side of the installation if its substrate differs.
Assign the board according to its role
Fireplace Construction Board CS has described applications in indoor fireplace constructions. Selection must maintain the conditions of the specific installation and the method of assembly. Do not automatically assign the sheet any shelf load above the insert.
HT Fireboard serves other specified protective and finishing tasks. Compare the function, support, and surface needed for additional layers. Sheets of similar thickness do not therefore become interchangeable in every location.
Check connections and access
HB60 has its own range of compatible temperature-resistant connections. Choose it according to the board, substrate, and installation instructions. Dry-fit the corners and important terminations before the final decorative layer appears.
Photograph supports, edges, and required spaces before covering. Record the products used on both sides of the insert. During future repair, it will be clear whether you are assessing the sheet connection, the substrate, or the surface layer, instead of selecting the material based only on the shape of the visible crack.
